Why I Chose Digital Marketing as My New Career:
That’s when I decided to switch. I wanted something more aligned with my thinking—more dynamic, creative, and future-focused. I discovered digital marketing, and everything started to make sense.What stood out to me was how a career in digital marketing in Nepal could offer both creativity and long-term growth.
Learning Digital Marketing: My First Steps:
At first, I had only heard a few terms—SEO, content writing, graphic design, affiliate marketing. But now, these are part of my daily learning. Every day, I’m growing, building real digital skills that can make an impact.
I started with Google listings, designing content in Canva, building basic websites, and giving feedback on social pages — all while learning through real projects.

For the past month, I’ve been learning digital marketing—and it feels like the right place for me.
Before stepping into digital marketing, I was working in traditional sales and marketing. But honestly, I didn’t feel much excitement or see real growth. Despite putting in a lot of effort, the results were slow and often unsatisfying. That’s when I realized that path wasn’t for me, and I decided to make a fresh start.
When I first came across digital marketing, I only knew a few buzzwords like SEO, content writing, graphic design, and affiliate marketing. But today, those are no longer just terms—they’re part of my everyday learning and practice. I’ve started building real, practical skills in these areas, and I genuinely enjoy the process. It feels like the right direction for me.
In Nepal, traditional marketing still dominates, but the digital shift is happening quickly. As more people get online and businesses recognize the power of digital channels, digital marketing opportunities in Nepal are growing steadily. I believe the future scope of digital marketing in Nepal is very promising—and that’s exactly why I’m preparing myself now.
